Ade Bethune Collection
The College of St. Catherine owns the papers and artworks of Ade Bethune, a world-renowned liturgical artist, writer, and social activist. Ms. Bethune was an influential figure in American liturgical art in the 20th century; her leadership covered over half a century of significant work.
Three different aspects of Ade Bethune's work are currently included in Digital Collections.

Contains just over 200 graphics encompassing the seasons of the Church year and various saints
Ade Bethune Drawings
A collection of Ade Bethune's original brush and ink drawings, created for the Catholic Worker newspaper and other publications

Selection of pamphlets and articles written by Ade Bethune
This is just a sample of the over 2000 drawings and writings contained in the Ade Bethune Collection. Additional works by Ms. Bethune, both visual and textual, will be added to the College's Digital Collections as they are digitized and cataloged.
